ARCHIVES OF WAR, a critical U.S. Branch movie review (date of review: 2004). The DVD format was released in March 2002; Amazon.com price: $26.98. Not available on VHS. The only part of this poorly done film of interest to World War I students is a 1920's segment that appears to be a training film. Most of the film is World War II clips, which appear to have been stolen from some government film archives, which everyone has seen 20 times. The reviewer in Jim Minnoch, rating the film "0" stars (out of five), who can be reached at jemcam@comcast.net. In other words, don't bother with this one. |
