First Battle of the Marne

German and British Troops Face-Off at the Marne

The national ceremony to commemorate the 90th Anniversary of the first Battle of the Marne will take place at Mondement, Marne, on Sunday, 5 September 2004, in the presence of delegations from all the nations involved in the battle.
