Founded in 1980, The Western Front Association brings together those eager to learn about what scholar-diplomat George Kennan labeled "the seminal tragedy of the 20th century." The WFA seeks to honor and perpetuate the memory of those who fought on both sides of the battlefront. We concentrate particularly on the causes of the conflict and its impact on our times. Members´ interests range far beyond the fighting in France and Flanders.
