The yearly seminar of the Western Front Association, USA, New England-New York Chapter will be held at the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, New York, November 7-9, 2008. Please join us if you would like to learn more about the events of 1914-1918. Among our lecturers will be faculty members of the Miltary Academy and experts on many aspects of the First World War.

Accommodations and Registration

The seminar will be held at the Thayer Hotel (647 Thayer Road , West Point N. Y. 10996) on the Military Academy grounds. Rooms at the hotel are at the special group rate of $170. Please notifiy when making your reservation that you are with the WFA. The Thayer Hotel telephone is 845-446-4731. Other hotels in the area are the Econolodge (845-446-9400) and Holiday Inn Express (845-446-4277). For those in the Boston area Stewart Airport which is 15 miles from the academy has many flights to and from Boston.

The fee for the seminar is $150 which includes two breakfasts, one lunch, one gala dinner and multiple coffee breaks. On Sunday after the last lecture there will be an optional tour of the academy. Registration is Friday Nov. 7 from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sat. at 8 a.m.
