PROGRAMME

Friday, March 10, 6:00 pm.

Greet old friends and get acquainted with new members, or talk over aspects of the Pacific Coast Branch with Executive Committee Members who will be on hand. Set up your Show & Tell exhibit; contribute books and other items for our Silent Auction; and start bidding on any objects of interest. Enjoy a drink in the open Mess Bar while viewing the CSR's incomparable military artifacts and historical paintings. Relaxed friendly socializing with fellow members, and discussion of some of your own particular favorite Great War subjects.

10:00 - 10:15 am - Coffee Break.

10:15 - 11:00 am - PPCLI UNIVERSITY COMPANIES AT MOUNT SORREL, presented by Stephen Newman

6:00 - 8:30 pm - MESS DINNER. Coats and ties or mess kit for gentlemen, suits or dresses for ladies. KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Rear Admiral Thomas J. Johnson, USN (Rtd.), Chairman, US Branch, WFA.

8:30 - On. Socialize together for remainder of the evening.

10.30 - 11.15 am - BILLY BARKER, VC, documentary videotape presented by Wayne Ralph.

11:15 - 12:00 am - Members' group discussion, input, and suggestions about the Pacific Coast Branch.

Utilize the "Soldiers Died in the Great War" and "IWM Trench Map Archive" CD ROMs on the Library computer for your research projects. Tour the Canadian Scottish Regimental Museum.

Noon. Farewells, "Safe Home," and may we all meet again next year.
