This year's fourteen-day tour begins on Sunday, May 20 at Brussels and ends Saturday, June 2 at Charles DeGaulle Airport outside Paris. Travel by motor coach, lodging and most meals included. Trans-Atlantic airfare is not included.

Sunday, May 20 - Friday, May 25, Mons and the Retreat
Retreat from Mons Monument to Missing at La Ferté sous Jouarre
Pass through the Waterloo battlefield en route to Mons. Follow the movement of the British Expeditionary Force in its fighting retreat through Elouges, including the retirement of Haig's First Corps, the Forest of Mormal, Landrecies and Etreaux, Solesmes, Le Cateau, the sunken road at Toisville, and the arrival of the new 4th Cavalry Division, the Battle of Guise, fighting along the Aisne, the Chemin des Dames, Malmaisson, Craonne and Californie plateau.

The Meuse-Argonne Campaign, St. Mihiel

Near Current US Cemetery at Romagne
Tour the major sites of battle during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive of September- November 1918 including a Memorial Day ceremony at the Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery, sections of the Hindenburg Line, the site of Sergeant York's heroism, Jean-Paul DeVries' private museum at Romagne, the race to Sedan, Meuse River crossings, and the Frank Luke crash site. The final two days will concentrate on the St. Mihiel Salient with time for shopping in Verdun.
The segment of the tour covering the retreat from Mons will be conducted by Andy Tonge of Flanders Tours and the tour of American battlefields led by Randy Gaulke, who organized our 1998 battlefield tour.

A deposit of $100 is required after October 1st. Check should be made payable to WFA-USA Branch.
