Organised by the U.S Branch of Western Front Association, and
Flanders Tours in Great Britain


The tour begins at and departs from the Brussels airport and ends there. The Group will be based in the **** Hotel Ariane in Ypres; renowned for its pleasant, helpful staff, good accommodation and excellent restaurant. All rooms have private facilities. The hotel is a short walk away from the centre of Ypres and the Menin Gate.

On all tour days the coach will leave the hotel @ 08 30 & return to the hotel @ 18 30. We have included a small amount of walking on each day of the tour schedule to enable you to have a better understanding of the ground over which the battles were fought. You are not obliged to walk and may rest on the coach at any time. A car will be in attendance each day.

All meals included except for three dinners noted below.

The exact charges for the event depend on the number of sign-ups and the actual costs in 2003. Here are the estimates as of August 2002 based on thirty persons.

Twin Room charges shared costs or single supplement for the whole tour and seminar:

It will be possible to attend the seminar only for a cost of $150 / £94. Meals are included, rooms are not.

A deposit of 30 pounds or $42 is due with booking with the balance due eight weeks before the tour begins.
